Building my shed

I'm a girl who loves my shed. I designed and built it myself with girl-power tools. Actually, just a cordless drill & a jigsaw. A timber shop did the straight cuts for me & a friend, Paul, cut the roof-angle cuts. My shed is 6' high, the height of the adjacent fence, & I designed it around a reclaimed window through which a soft light shines on summer evenings. It houses garden equiptment, paint tins & two bicycles strapped to the sides with leather belts. It's narrow but has a home made door on either end. I used felt shingles on the roof though it only has a 5 degree slope. One thing I didn't consider was how I would move it two feet to the fence once it was finished. I had to rent large crowbars with wheels & skates to slide it over, thanks to Nick, my husband, Bob & Andreu for risking their digits. I finished painting the interior just before my wedding & had the remnants of Cord Farrow & Ball in my hair-do.
